Rochelle Greenwell

Hola! My name is Rochelle Greenwell, a board member of DeafHope. I became connected to DeafHope when I first publicly came out as a survivor of sexual violence back in February of 2012, which was not an easy journey but the journey definitely would have not been possible without DeafHope’s love and support and as well from my friends and the community. Coming out as a survivor and embarking on the journey with DeafHope has truly helped me in becoming self-actualized and believing that I can continue to thrive in any way and however my mind, body and soul wishes to cultivate, all thanks to DeafHope. I am excited to be a part of the board of DeafHope, where we can come together to develop a community for our survivors and to end violence in our Deaf communities.
