DV Training at NorCal’s DeafSAFE Program

We were thrilled to spend last week with the wonderful team at NorCal – several of their client advocates participated in 40 hours of Domestic Violence Advocate training.  They are doing amazing work at NorCal and DeafSAFE, we are glad to partner with them in the work to end domestic and sexual violence.

#nodapl

The DeafHope Board voted today to immediately close our Wells Fargo accounts. Thanksgiving and Columbus Day are rooted in the same violence as the implementation of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Keep loving, keep fighting.

Sharing news from ASADV

Excited for the beautiful changes happening at our sister organization IGNITE (formerly ASADV). We are deeply grateful for the leadership and widespread contributions Erin Esposito has made in the DVSV field over the years. She has a special place in our hearts as an important part of the DeafHope family, also as a Trailblazer award recipient. Thank you Erin for sharing so much of yourself with us, for all you have given this work, for your dedication to community accountability, child sexual abuse, and your spirited presence with legislators in DC. Can’t wait to see what you get up to next!

Thank you to Santa’s Deaf Elves!
